AMBER alert sparks multistate search for two Wisconsin boys

On Tuesday morning, an AMBER alert issued by the Plover Police Department sparked an interstate search for two abducted Wisconsin boys.

The Plover Police Department, which is in Portage County, Wisconsin, is looking for Alexander Xiong, 7, and his brother Stefan Xiong, 9.

Officials believe that the boys are being held captive by Yiemen Xiong in a 2010 Gold Toyota Sienna with Wisconsin license plate 740-XTN.

Their destination is unknown, but they were last seen in Clinton, Iowa around 4:15 p.m. on 11/20.

The abductor also has ties to Marathon County and Columbia County in Wisconsin.

Citizens are currently watching for the abducted boys at locations across Iowa and Wisconsin using US.Watch, a platform developed by law enforcement to coordinate the public search for abducted children during AMBER alerts.
